A huge part of the problem is that we do not know what is right for us. We all desire to eat healthier, but find it impossible to sort through and decode all the perplexing and contradictory health claims, nutritional and ingredient information to truly understand what foods are best for us. Moreover, what’s best for me will almost never be the best for you, given that our medical conditions, health goals, preferences and allergies are different!
Thus began our quest – to find a simple solution to empower us all to make better food choices based on our individual preferences and goals. To utilize research, technology, medical and food science to give each one of us an easy tool to find the right products for every member of our families! Millions of hours of research, store and nutritionist visits, doctor consultations, math and statistics refresher courses, and technology malfunctions later, we created multiple proprietary algorithms that break down each product to the molecular level, analyze the quality and nutritional value of each ingredient and compare how well they match your unique needs. Sounds complicated, it is :) but don't worry - to make it super easy to understand we provide you with a customized, MY Xume Score, between 0 and 100 that is colour-coded red (0-39), yellow (40-69) or green (70-100) to let you know how well the product maps your health goals and dietary needs. Xume is still in Beta stage and we are working hard to increase the completeness and accuracy of the data to better assist your decision making process so please bear with us if certain products you want are not on our APP as yet.
